Some fun days ahead!

photos above are taken in my most favourite town, Rousse.

What feels more exciting than packing your suitcase and knowing that in a couple of hours you'll be somewhere completely different and new?
Me and Lazar have planned a whole week of traveling and adventures so please, keep your fingers crossed for safe trips, nice weather and lots of beautiful photos. I'll keep you posted!

Heart-shaped.

I've never had heart-shaped glasses. Matter of fact, I've never even liked them. But there is something dreamy and magical about them, don't you think? It's like you'll see a whole different world when you put them on. Hmm... I might get a pair actually. :)
Happy weekend!

My Lovely Dexter

Here's Dexter, resting on the sofa after the longest walk outside in the rain.
I guess owl loving runs in the family, because he can't sleep until his new friend (the owl pillow) is near him.
That's my boy!

May!

My favourite month of all is finally here!
It's the perfect time for walks in the park (it's magical with all the flowers and trees blooming) and enjoying cupcakes (preferably blue violet ones!). Happy May everyone!

TigerLily

I've been busy with some not-so-pleasant things lately and sitting in front of the laptop and drawing again was absolute relaxation. I am in serious need of new music, though. (been listening to the same two or three songs for weeks now.) Any suggestions?

Back from Rousse

I spent lovely couple of days in my hometown. Although Rousse isn't the same without my favourite soulmates (oh!), it was still fun. I met some friends, visited the local fair, spent some quality time with my mom and dad and managed to visit most of my favourite places.
What did you do this weekend?

Read of the month: April

Last night I finished Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird" (it has been on my list for way too long!). I definitely recommend it to everyone who hasn't read it yet. The novel is witty and funny and since the narrator is a 10-year old girl, it's very easy to read. The action is entertaining and once you get introduced to the main characters and their stories, you simply cannot put the book down.
And another thing: "To Kill a Mockingbird" is not only well written, it is well finished. With only a sentence that says it all.
You will love it!

Tea Time

Just when I thought winter was finally gone... it snowed. It's so cold outside you can't tell it's April. So, I'm sipping green jasmine tea, working on some boring projects and waiting for the sun to shine again. Cold weather has its benefits, though. I managed to finish a couple of illustrations, too! :)

Purple

I am having a marvelous weekend. My mom is over for a couple of days and we're having so much fun. We'd planned a road trip and have been driving around beautiful towns and places and singing evergreens and laughing a lot. It's priceless.
I forgot to bring my camera (of course.) but managed to take a single snapshot with my iPhone than I can share with you.
What are your plans for the weekend? I am off to some more adventures, see you soon!

Falling

Have you ever had a dream where you are falling and you can actually feel yourself falling? It happened to me the other night. The feeling was so real that when I woke up it took me some time to realize I'm in my bed and not floating in the air, haha!
So that's how I came up with "Falling". It's a pretty simple illustration that would've taken me no more than 10 minutes, if it wasn't for the hair details. I've just got this thing about hair, you know...

What's in my bag

I've always loved What's in my bag posts. It's so much fun to peek into other people's bags and have a look at what they carry around all day, isn't it?
So, here's what's in my bag: pen & notebook, sanitizer, hand cream, coconut lip balm, huge wallet (to hold all of my photobooth pictures), owl pocket mirror, flash drive, iPod, gum, tissues, sunglasses, lucky lighter aaand iPhone.
I'd love to see your take on what's in my bag as well!

Blog buttons!

I've been planning these for a long time and have always found an excuse not to do them. Today I finished three Little Birds blog buttons, finally!! You can either grab one from my right sidebar, or check the sizes here and pick what's best for you.
If you add any of them - thank you so much! If you have your own blog button, give me a link in the comment section so I can check it out and share the love :)

Lily

Peacock Feathers

First day of April finally felt like spring. Me, my boy and Dexter were out the whole day, enjoying the lovely weather and spending some quality time together. "Peacock feathers" is a quickie I did for a very special friend of mine who has a birthday today. What do you think, will she like it?
