Have you ever had a dream where you are falling and you can actually feel yourself falling? It happened to me the other night. The feeling was so real that when I woke up it took me some time to realize I'm in my bed and not floating in the air, haha! So that's how I came up with "Falling". It's a pretty simple illustration that would've taken me no more than 10 minutes, if it wasn't for the hair details. I've just got this thing about hair, you know...

i haven't had one of those dreams in a while..i really don't like them...so creepy! the last time i had one i was actually hanging off the side of the bed!

Oh, it's beautiful! :) Well, the illustration - not the falling sensation...lol. Whenever I have those, I'm usually *actually* falling off my bed!

ReplyDeleteI'm not offended in any way, actually I'm pretty happy you've brought up the question. That's why i started this blog in the first place - to hear what other people think. "Falling" is an illustration of a dream and a great challenge for me since I'm experimenting a lot lately and trying my best to improve my works. I am not sure i could cover up an already finished piece, but I finish a new illustration almost every week so I asure you you will find many good ones that wouldn't be offensive in any way!
The good news is that I am working on an Etsy shop and soon some of my illustrations will be available as prints and cards :)
