Hot Spot

This is a commissioned illustration I did for... my dad. Yesterday he asked me if I could draw something abstract (and in purple! I guess it's not only my favourite colour.) he could use as a desktop background on his computer.I sketched some ideas, I even nearly finished two, but none of them felt quite like it. So, as always, I decided to improvise... and came up with this :)
What do you think?

  9. I'm not such a fan of purple either but this is really beautiful. What a great exploration of colour and texture. I like the play with opacity within quite restricted geometric forms. Love!

An old myth says that if you leave from a blog without sharing your opinion about a post, a little raccoon will sneak in your room tonight and it will steal your favourite pair of socks! Beware!
