Olive Paste

I am crazy about it lately!
Funny thing is that I have been to Greece and tasted it there and to be honest, I wasn't charmed. I guess I wasn't paying attention. Like, at all.
I rediscovered it a couple of days ago and fell in love immediately. It's just so tasty! Olive paste on a toast is now my perfect breakfast. What's yours?
Seriously, if you haven't tried olive paste, you should. You'll definitely love it. Probably not from the first time, though ;)

Happy Valentine's!

Since the boy of my dreams is out of the country for a week or so, I'm spending Valentine's Day at home with Dexter, eating heart-shaped cookies, watching cheesy movies and listening to some relaxing music. I know it sounds boring but it's actually pretty fun.

My real celebration starts Sunday, when my boy returns. :)

I am a king in my tiny little kingdom

I was juuuust about to fall asleep last night when this idea popped up in my head. Okay, I admit it: Depeche Mode's "Free Love" video may have influenced me a little, since I watched it a million times yesterday and there was this bea-u-tiful pink royal chair... I had to draw it! :)

New blog layout... again!

Okay I didn't plan it that way... but it seems like the new design wanted to show up sooner than I had planned. (haha, I messed things up a little bit, I admit it.) But anyway, it's already here and I a-d-o-r-e it.

February is for love-related songs. All five came to me out of nowhere and I loved all of them. All are very sensual and romantic, have a listen!

Girl on a swing

When I finished this drawing I realized that the girl looks a little bit like Alice (at least in my imagination) and was happy about that because it was absolutely unintentional. The texture I used for the background is my new super favourite and you'll be seeing it a lot. Oh, and there's the special love symbol, did you spot it?

Artwall!

I finally added some new prints to my art wall and I can officially say that it is now complete.

I started with only three - the Egyptian hieroglyphs (exclusively drawn by my boy!) and the two prints on top of it - the apple picker and the shy green lady. And piece by piece I arranged it to look as it does now.

This art wall is in our living room and I have the idea of having one more - in the bedroom. I've decided that since all the prints on this wall are drawn by me, all the prints on the other one would be someone else's work. Guess what I'm starting with: Happy Moment, sent to me by Monique. How's that for a start? :)
