Where dreams are born...

I'm working on projects for our lovely art wall whenever I have the time. And here's the new member of the family!
"Where dreams are born" looks rather simple and ordinary, but is quite special and meaningful to me. It represents my life here, in Sofia, with my favourite boy and cute-cute dog. A lot of my dreams right now were actually born here and I am working hard on making them come true. A lot of my boy's dreams were born here, too; we even shared some. I bet Dexter has some dreams he doesn't want to share, which are again born here, in our little home.
So call it a dream factory, our home. It'll be absolutely true.

Read of the Month: September

My read of the month is called Juntacadáveres by Juan Carlos Onetti. It's a book from 1964 but I found it republished and I have to admit I bought it because of the beautiful cover. (I actually do judge a book by its cover!)
It's a dramatic story about a place called Santa Maria, where Junta (the main character) wants to open a public house but faces the resistance of the native people. I've only read a couple of chapters but it's definitely an interesting book to read before going to sleep!

Pirates in a Bottle

New Layout!

I worked on the upper banner image for quite some time for purposes different than using it here on my blog. However, when I finished it, I thought it would be perfect for here. I then decided to cahnge the link images, too, which was waaay easier. So, here it is - my new autumn layout :)

I am so late!

Baby Monster

just wanted to sketch something and use it later on, but without any effort it turned out to be a perfect little picture of a baby monster (trying to eat up the whole city!).

Happy September!

I really thought that the end of the summer was far far away but September came and proved me wrong. Just for one day the temperatures fell rapidly and I even had to bring out my scarf and hat just to go to the movies! Brr! Anyways - I love this time of the year. Fall is the most inspiring season of it all and I am so excited!
Today I made myself a cup of my favourite tea (Earl Gray), sat by the window and drew all day while the wind was blowing outside. Couldn't think of a better way to say hello to the Fall!

I'm baaack!

I'm back from the sweetest couple of days with one of my soulmates - miss Radostina. It was absolutely fantastic! We had so much fun back in Rousse that I barely had time to sleep, let alone drawing or anything else. We took tons of beautiful pictures, established a new ritual (wine&chocolates at our place), went shopping together, went DANCING together, took a couple of pictures in our favourite photobooth, had a massage together and a lot lot more fun things that bffs do!
It was really amazing but now that I'm here, I'm back to work! Days like that inspire me the most and I'm full with new ideas and projects I can't wait to start!

Artwall: halfway there!

I found time to finally add some cute pictures on my tiny-soon-to-be-huge artwall and I am so excited! I added four new pics, 2 of which are my latest ones - "We live on a tree" and "It can't rain all the time" and now my collection has 7 original prints (6 by me and 1 (the egyptian hieroglyphs) by my boy! Wohoo!) I'm planning to add some more pictures soon (probably to reach 13) and I just can't wait to see it all completely finished!
